Requirement: must be able to independently swim 200 meters with or without fins & must be minimum 15 years old

Includes: transportation to dive site, water & snacks, photos & videos, online access to class material, insurance, certification


Day 1

Theory Session

  • Introduction to freediving and the different disciplines
  • Familiarisation with the equipment
  • Duck-dives and effective underwater entry technique
  • Proper body positioning
  • Kicking technique
  • Equalization techniques
  • Breathing technique
  • Hydration and diet

Water Session

  • Preparation of the equipment
  • Practice of efficient breathing techniques in the water
  • Practice of duck-dives and kicking technique
  • Practice and correction of body positioning
  • Buoyancy test
  • Freedives on the dive-line
  • Maximum depth of 12 metres

Day 2

Theory Session

  • Review of the freedives done on Day 1
  • Fine-tuning the breathing technique
  • Safety regulations
  • Safety procedures in the water
  • Pranayamas – yogic breathing with application to freediving

Water Session

  • Warm up dives
  • Practice of new breathing technique
  • Buddy team work
  • Safety procedures and rescue practice
  • Freedives on the dive-line
  • Maximum depth of 20 meter
